In our 9:00 service we sing contemporary songs led by our praise band.  Even though we enjoy the music thoroughly we understand that music style enhances our worship of God…it is not what we worship.  It is from our hearts that true worship flows forth.  Even then it is God who first places worship in our hearts.  If you enjoy the contemporary style, we invite you to worship with us.

Every first and third Sunday of the month, we have a special service just for kids in grades 1-4 during both the 9 o'clock and 11 o'clock services in our KidsLife room. Worship KidStyle puts a whole new spin on kids’ worship. It lets kids worship like kids, with fun music videos with motions, cool arts and crafts, attention-holding, life-application videos, and more…we designed it just for kids!  From the moment children arrive at Worship KidStyle, they’ll be led to worship. Introduction to Worship prepares children for worship and presents the theme for the session through fun, exciting activities. During Worship time, children will sing and move along with cool music videos, watch life-application videos, pray, give their offerings, learn and apply Bible knowledge, learn key Bible verses, hear Bible stories, and more.  Finally, the children Wrap-Up their worship experience with a time of review.

There is children's church available every Sunday morning for both services for children in Kindergarten and younger in our Preschool building.

A family room is available with a live feed of the service in a classroom adjacent to the sanctuary for parents and children that need to leave the service.

The greatest commandment is “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength” (Deuteronomy 6:5).  One way we can express our love to God is through song.  Long ago God appointed temple musicians (I Chronicles 6:31-46, 9:33).  They ministered with music before the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting.  The musicians were in the lineage of Levi.  They stayed in the rooms of the temple and were exempt from other duties because they were responsible for the work day and night.  Music must be important to God since He required the Levites to become skilled in music so they could minister to Him all the time (1 Chronicles 25:7).  Scripture says “all the Levites who were musicians…stood on the east side of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps, and lyres (2 Chronicles 5:12).”  They gave praise and thanks to the Lord singing “He is good; his love endures forever.”

When is God pleased with our worship?  John 4:23 says “But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.  God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

First of all, our hearts must belong to God.  We can’t worship in spirit if the Holy Spirit isn’t inside us.  Jesus says Christians have “the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.  I will not leave you” (John 14:17).

Second, we must worship God in truth.  “But whoever lives by the truth comes to the Light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God” (John 3:21).  “Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).  We must live by the truth.
