Small Groups

Relationships...we need them.  The two greatest commandments in the Bible reveal God's desire for us to have great relationships.  The first and greatest commandment is to love the Lord with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength.  Jesus wants us to have an authentic relationship with Him.  He wants us to come to Him in faith and connect to Him through a healthy relationship based on love.

The second greatest commandment is to love our neighbor as ourselves.  This is about relationships too.  We all need authentic, healthy relationships with other people.  Jesus wants for us to have a meaningful relationship with Him as well as the people around us.

That's why at Second Baptist Church we encourage everyone to be involved in a small group Bible study on a weekly basis.  These small group Bible studies are a great place to learn more about Jesus and connect with others who are on the same journey.  It's important we all have a place to connect to God and people.
