Gary Garrison has been the Pastor here at Second Baptist since 1996 and the years have been an incredible blessing to him and his family. He and his wife Nicole graduated from Texas A&M University in 1992 with degrees in Business. They were married the summer of 1991 and now have four great kids! Gary received his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1995 and his wife received her Master's Degree from Sam Houston State University in 2000; she presently teaches in the Business Department at SHSU. Gary and Nicole love the church and the city of Huntsville and look forward to seeing all that Jesus has in store for their family and our church family. Jesus is Lord!
Tom Farr - Student and College Minister
Tom Farr is the Student Pastor over Youth and College Ministries. He and his wife Lindsey (married since 2003) moved to Huntsville in August 2006 after he graduated from Greenville College in Greenville, Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in Contemporary Christian Music/Recording Production. Tom and Lindsey grew up in Owasso and Collinsville, Oklahoma. In December 2008 they welcomed their beautiful daughter Lucy Hope into their lives. Tom enjoys spending time with his family, reading books, writing, and playing guitar. His passion is seeing students and young adults pursuing the heart of Jesus, being moved by the Scriptures, and being reflections of the Light shining in the darkness of people’s lives.
Rachel Warren - Preschool Minister
Rachel Warren has been the preschool minister here at SBC since April of 2007. Rachel and her husband Thomas are both from Huntsville. She graduated from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor with a degree in Elementary Education specializing in Early Childhood Education. Rachel and Thomas have two wonderful children. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and shopping.
