When you arrive at SBC, you will be greeted by a member or members of our First Impressions team. Our First Impressions team is a great resource for any questions you may have about our church. They will be able to lead you to the church sanctuary for one of our worship services or give you information and direction to attend one of our small groups.
When you come to SBC on a Sunday morning, you have a choice between two services, one at 9:00 and one at 11:00.
Our 9:00 a.m. service is our Contemporary Worship Service. During this service our worship band plays upbeat contemporary worship songs that reflect our love for and desire to elevate the glory of God. Our pastor gives a relevant biblical message that seeks to both draw people to a relationship with Jesus and help people grow in their faith. Our 9:00 a.m. worship design fluctuates from week to week. Sometimes we have video clips, times of guided prayer, and Scripture readings weaved throughout the service.
Our 11:00 a.m. service is our Traditional Worship Service. During this service our worship team leads the congregation in hymns and songs written by faithful men and women throughout the history of the church. These songs also reflect our love for and desire to elevate God’s glory. Our pastor again gives a relevant biblical message. Prayers and Scripture readings are also a frequent feature of our 11:00 a.m. service.
If you have children in first through sixth grade, during both of our worship services immediately following our worship time, our children are dismissed to the Kids Life area for their own worship and teaching time called Worship Kids Style. The pastor dismisses the children each week. On days that we observe the Lord’s Supper, our children stay in the service with their families.
Our Preschool aged children have children’s church during both services each Sunday morning. Please check-in your child in our Preschool Building.
At 10:05 we have small group Bible studies for all ages. This is a great time to connect with other believers in a more intimate setting. See a member of our First Impressions team for more information on what groups we have.
